Josh graduated magna cum laude from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2022, completing the distinguished Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program. While in law school, he revived the then-dormant Environmental Law Society. Josh completed internships and residencies with the City of Concord (NH) Solicitor’s Office; the Federal Public Defender in Las Cruces, New Mexico; the Merrimack County (NH) Superior Court; and the New Hampshire Supreme Court with Justice Hicks. He earned his bachelor’s degree in legal studies with a minor in linguistics from Ithaca College (NY).

Josh’s diverse professional background spans multiple fields, including roles as a snowmaker at Dartmouth Skiway, an Uber driver, a teaching and research assistant in law school, a restaurant server and bartender, and maintenance worker/landscaper. Prior to law school, Josh worked as the outreach director for a non-partisan group focused on campaign finance reform in local elections. His responsibilities included providing workshops on best practices in running for local office and coordinating state-by-state campaign finance compliance.

At Wescott Law, Josh focuses his legal practice on advising business and community leaders with respect to entity selection, formation, governance, dissolution, and business transactions, as well as land use, estate planning, commercial and residential real estate transactions, and employment law.

An avid skier, hiker, and golfer, Josh also plays the bass guitar and enjoys all types of live music.
