Attorney Joshua G. Marshall Joins the Wescott Law Team
Wescott Law, a full-service law firm with offices in Laconia, Meredith, and Plymouth, announced that Joshua G. Marshall has joined its team of legal professionals.
Marshall’s practice areas will include entity selection, formation, governance, and dissolution; business transactions; land use; employment law; commercial and residential real estate transactions; and estate planning. “I’m interested in holistically serving local business and community leaders,” said Marshall. “My style is practical and results-oriented. I believe one of my key responsibilities is to advise clients of potential risks and how to navigate them.” Marshall will primarily serve clients located between Plymouth and Littleton, expanding Wescott Law’s services in these regions.
Marshall received his undergraduate degree in legal studies with a minor in linguistics from Ithaca College (NY). He completed his law degree at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where he was a member of the distinguished Daniel Webster Scholars Honors Program.
During law school, Marshall completed internships and residencies with the City of Concord (NH) Solicitor’s Office; the Federal Public Defender in Las Cruces, New Mexico; the Merrimack County (NH) Superior Court; and the New Hampshire Supreme Court with Justice Hicks. After law school, Marshall completed a two-year clerkship with the New Hampshire Superior Court, serving in Rockingham, Strafford and Carroll counties.
“Josh’s level-headed perspective and client focus make him an excellent attorney and a great fit for Wescott Law,” noted Sarah Rubury, partner and director.
Marshall is now accepting cases in business formation and commercial transactions; commercial and residential real estate; estate planning and probate administration; employment; and land use, planning, zoning and development.
