Benjamin T. French

Attorney Benjamin French joined the Wescott Law team in May 2024 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. Ben is also a graduate of the nationally renowned Daniel Webster Scholars Honors Program where he gained valuable experiential learning. While in school, Ben worked as a law clerk for a number of New Hampshire based firms, including Wescott Law, P.A., and served as Judicial Intern to the Honorable Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi of the New Hampshire Supreme Court. He also participated in the Touro Law Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition and served as Advisory Board for the UNH Law Moot Court Program.  

Ben earned his bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce University where he studied criminal justice and history and was captain of the men’s golf team. He also worked in the insurance industry for several years before pursuing his career in the legal field.  

He is admitted to practice law in New Hampshire, is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, and offers general legal services focusing on Civil Litigation, Family Law, Employment Law, and Estate Planning, as well as Land Use, Planning, Zoning, and Development.

Ben is a proud New Hampshire native, and enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, and is a die-hard fan of all New England sports teams. He looks forward to continuing his life here in New Hampshire and to establishing new connections throughout the Lakes Region.
